I was born profoundly deaf and have had many amazing experiences in the deaf community.
I currently work as an ASL tutor and a web designer/developer, and I love sharing my experiences with both deaf and hearing students.

I have worked in the Sign Translation Language Core Team for 2 years and have also served as a special volunteer to help hearing people learn sign language.
I am committed to promoting sign language and facilitating better communication between the deaf and hearing communities.
I have already trained three batches of students from Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru, and my students are doing well in sign language. In addition to my work as an ASL tutor, I am currently also offering online ASL tutoring.
I believe that it is important for individuals to continue learning and expanding their knowledge of languages, especially those like American Sign Language and International Sign Language.Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
In our syllabus, we cover a wide range of topics including
vocabulary,
handshapes in sign language,
facial expressions,
deaf culture,
homework assignments,
communication quizzes,
ASL phrases practice, and more.
These lessons will help students expand their knowledge of sign language and improve their communication skills with the deaf community.
Understanding deaf culture and using appropriate facial expressions and handshapes can also help students build stronger connections and relationships with deaf individuals.

Can't say enough about working with Tiju. He' s so supportive and I always look forward to our lessons. I learn so much in so little time. We do a lot of dialogue back and forth which helps with comprehension so much. Thank you Tiju so much for everything! I can't wait for our next lesson.

Wow! Tiju was so great. I know some very basic ASL and wanted to try out iTalki. I absolutely recommend Tiju. He is very patient and kind. I feel excited for another lesson.
