I’m certified in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language by the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana and Instituto Cervantes.
With 4+ years of online teaching and hundreds of lessons taught, I’ve helped students from all over the world start speaking Spanish confidently. My focus is on Spanish for Beginners and Spanish for Travel. I believe the best way to learn a language is to use it from your very first class.
I follow a communicative and conversational approach, starting with practical situations you’ll actually use in daily life or while traveling. We build from simple words to natural sentences, introducing grammar and vocabulary in context.

As an adult learner, Miguel was an excellent choice as my first teacher. He brought with him patience, humor and a historical knowledge of Spanish that was incredible. His communication and teaching is very fun and casual, while still professional and efficient.

Miguel was kind enough to hop on and meet with me after I missed our scheduled time to meet. I liked that he told me my errors and what I needed to fix at the end rather than throughout the call. This let the conversation get into a flow and rhythm, which I think helps boost confidence as a non-native speaker. Highly recommend him if you're looking to improve your conversational skills!
