Hi! My name is Anna and I’m a student studying ASL (American Sign Language) to English Interpretation in Ontario, Canada. Before that I went to school for Communication Studies, thus I have many years of experience both writing in and understanding academic-level English. I also have experience editing English professionally. I enjoy learning languages, reading and writing, and watching cartoons and Disney.

As a language learner myself, I intimately understand the challenges one faces when learning a new language - especially speaking. With this in mind, I aim to make my classes a safe and relaxing space for you to practice your English :)
I cater according to each student’s interests, strengths, weaknesses, and what they wish to work on. My focus is conversational English, but I am happy to work with you with basic resume writing, job interview prep, and essay writing in English as well. We can also discuss Canadian culture and slang, if you wish.

Anna is super friendly and motivates me to do my best on the IELTS. She’s able to catch minor mistakes in my pronunciation that are easy to miss. Very good experience so far and would highly recommend her for learning or practicing English :)

Anna is always amazing, she's patient and she gives me confidence, I'm improving my grammar, pronunciation, and fluency, also, the lesson is always individualized, targeting the aspects you need to practice and review the most.

I have taken more than one thousand classes on italki with different styles of tutors. Anna is the best one who is dedicated to teaching new vocabulary and idioms based on my needs. She also inspires me to ask more questions during lessons. Highly recommend someone who wants to seriously improve their English, not just have a general conversation. I always learn a lot from every class.

I've had many lessons with Anna to get ready for my future life in Canada. She is such an amazing person to talk to, our conversations just flow naturally. Also, she's LGBT 🌈 friendly, which is a huge plus for me. We covered a lot of interesting and profound topics during our lessons, and I always felt good after each class. I am on the way to achieve 500 lessons with Anna. Really appreciate her help for these years. I can communicate with people easily and keep learning. it's an achievement for me and glad to have her. I am looking forware to working with Anna next year.
