In my ~35 lessons with Lu, I have come to observe that Lu is a gifted teacher. On the technical side, she is well prepared; has lesson plans, homeworks, and expertise with the subject matter. This alone would make her a great teacher. However, what makes her truly special, is that she understands that learning needs to be fun, and makes it so: through her personality or the games, comics, and learning activities she chooses.

Agreeable personality. She adapted to my level very well, making me able to understand her. Also she took the time to correct me and was patient when I needed time to form a sentence. Nice conversation overall.

¡Fue una gran primera clase con Luciana Maestra! Acababa de visitar Argentina, así que fue fascinante hablar sobre la geografía, cultura y diversidad linguística de allí. También aprecio mucho su estilo de enseñanza: fue paciente y alentadora durante toda la clase, especialmente porque mis habilidades para hablar son mucho más débiles en comparación con mis fortalezas en lectura y escritura. No es de extrañar que haya dado más de 5,000 clases. See you later.
