I highly recommend Lisandro, especially if you are new to learning Spanish. I found verb conjugations so overwhelming and confusing before but he has done an amazing job helping me understand and use them. He has a really positive energy and is fun to work with, but he is also a really serious teacher who will actually make you learn.

We played a game and I learned so much vocabulary. It was so fun! It allowed me to use my imagination and just speak! That's my goal and he is an awesome teacher and cares about his students and their goals.

Lisandro is the best! He is such a good teacher. I have only been working with him for a month and already my co-workers and students are commenting on how much better my Spanish has gotten. I tried to learn all of last year on my own and at a community college class with no success.

I really enjoyed today’s lesson. My teacher taught me the importance of having the necessary vocabulary to properly express myself. I witnessed the benefits firsthand! I was first shown a video, in which I had to describe a scene. During my first try, I knew what I wanted to say but didn’t have the words. My teacher then described what he noticed when watching the video. At that point, I learned a lot new vocabulary and some new grammatical structures. My homework was to write 3 sentences using the new words and structures I recently learned. In the following lesson, we re-watched the video and I was asked to describe what I saw. Miraculously, I was able to now describe it because of the newly acquired vocabulary and grammatical structures. Interestingly enough, my description of what I saw was still different than my teacher’s description. The facts, of course, were the same, but the way we described the scene was completely different. This is an amazing exercise! Thanks Lisandro!
