Hello! I’m Abbie from Sunderland in the North East of England. I’ve taught English since 2018, working with adults and children. I’m TEFL and CELTA qualified, with degrees in Business and Marketing and 8 years’ business experience. I love travelling (China, Japan, South Korea, the USA, Italy and more), plus movies, hiking and political podcasts. I create relaxed, supportive lessons tailored to your goals, with a focus on building confidence - mistakes are welcome and help you improve. We can work on conversation, pronunciation, grammar, or English for work and interviews. I’m excited to meet you and help you enjoy learning English.
I’m a TEFL and CELTA qualified teacher, which means I use professional techniques to help you learn English more effectively and efficiently. I also hold an undergraduate degree and a master’s in Business and Marketing, with 8 years of experience working in business.
I’ve worked with university students, adults, and children. Teaching is my true passion, and I love connecting with people from all over the world. Not only do I get to help you improve your English, but I also learn about your culture along the way.
Above all, my main goal is to boost your confidence. I truly believe that when you feel more confident, language learning becomes much easier and more enjoyable.

Abbie knows how to find the perfect balance between fun and learning. She really cares about children and wants to feel them comfortable so they can learn in a funny way without even noticing. Abbie has always a smile on her face and has a lot of energy!

My daughter really enjoying having English lessons with Abbie…In addition to learning, Abbie will help her try things when she doesn't know，this is awesome!!She is patient with children , always with a smile on her face… When you have any questions , she’s willing to communicate with you and find a best way of teaching…I’m really happy that I meet such a great teacher.
