Hello! My name is Abbie and I live in Sunderland, in the North East of England. I have years of teaching experience with both adults and children. I love travelling and exploring other countries, I travel as much as possible and have been to many places across the world including, China, Japan, South Korea, USA, Italy, etc. I like seeing my friends, watching movies, hiking and listening to music. I am TEFL and CELTA qualified which means I have professional techniques used by English language teachers to help you learn more effectively and efficiently. I also have an undergraduate degree and masters degree in Business and Marketing and 8 years experience working in business. I have experience working with university students, adults and also primary school students. Teaching is a huge passion of mine. I love being able to talk to people from around the world, learn about their culture while at the same time developing their English skills. When you book a lesson, you will see that I like to build a good rapport with my students. In the first class we will get to know each other and I will learn what you are looking to gain from lessons. From there, I will create varied activities in classes to make sure they are interesting and they benefit you as a learner. My daughter really enjoying having English lessons with Abbie…In addition to learning, Abbie will help her try things when she doesn't know，this is awesome!!She is patient with children , always with a smile on her face… When you have any questions , she’s willing to communicate with you and find a best way of teaching…I’m really happy that I meet such a great teacher.

Abbie knows how to find the perfect balance between fun and learning. She really cares about children and wants to feel them comfortable so they can learn in a funny way without even noticing. Abbie has always a smile on her face and has a lot of energy!
