Bonjour, Hi !
I'm a French/English teacher and native speaker, originally from Montreal, Canada.
I have been living in Latin America for the past 6+ years, mostly in the beautiful countries of Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Ecuador, Argentina, and Chile. I am very passionate about languages, travels and photography.

Classes are oriented towards your needs, to help you reach your goals. Whether you are beginner, intermediate or advanced, I will guide you towards success with a variety of activities and discussions.
I'm proactive, attentive and patient. I know French has its challenges, but I will help you find an easy AND fun way to learn. Moreover, I am very structured and organized in order to meet all of my students' needs.

Conversation classes are best suited for an intermediate/advanced student who wants to learn new expressions, work on vocabulary and develop her/his critical skills, through a variety of discussions. I always provide constructive feedback; we can certainly address and review mistakes, if necessary.
I also specialize in structured French classes, which are ideal for beginners or intermediates. We will be able to cover various grammatical notions, learn new vocabulary, and work on your pronunciation. For those who start from zero, we can communicate in English or Spanish, in order to make a smooth transition into speaking more and more French together, as we move forward.Il mio materiale didattico

Julien is truly a master in the art of teaching languages, particularly for those looking to communicate effectively and with fluidity in the real world. I have had numerous French teachers online and in person, and, like other reviewers have stated, Julien is the best. I have taken over 40 hours of classes with Julien, and I feel very lucky to have found him.
Julien is prepared, professional, patient, and a genuinely very cool person. He engages me in conversations about a wide variety of interesting topics, holds me to high standards without being overly prescriptive, and corrects my errors in grammar, pronunciation, etc. immediately. Julien is flexible with his schedule and clearly loves teaching and interacting with people from around the world. I struck gold by finding a teacher like Julien and highly recommend him to others.

I am so glad that I found Julien on iTalki. I have worked with a few teachers, but he is by far the best! He provides excellent guidance and clear, understandable answers to my questions. I have been taking French lessons with Julien for over a year now and I cannot stress how helpful his instruction has been for my journey with the French language. I just got back from a week in France and felt noticeably more confident and capable in my ability to interact with native French speakers.
