My name is Aya and I grew up in Osaka, Japan.
I used to be a flight attendant based in Dubai, and lived there for 3 years.
Now I live in FL and I enjoy the beach here.

I have been a teacher on italki since 2020 and I have taught many classes.
I'm passionate about teaching and will never give up on any student! I love seeing my students improving, and I always put all my effort into them. I studied English as my 2nd language and studying Spanish as my 3rd one.

Had another Great lesson with Aya San today! We reviewed a certain grammar point that I was struggling on and she helped me review and practice with a bunch of different examples that she made for me on how to use the grammar point. I like that she let me try and figure out the translation and didn't help me until I clearly didn't know. I look forward to our next lesson(s)! Thank you so much again!

Aya-san is an excellent tutor who not only teaches and explains but challenges me to form sentences that are just above my level so I’m always working my brain. This is the gold standard for teaching in my humble opinion.
