Hi, I'm Dom, I'm 28 and from the UK. I've been teaching for years and have helped more than 400 students improve their language skills so far! I was born in the United Kingdom and grew up in France, I speak fluent English and French as well as good Spanish and a little Italian (it is very rusty now though!).
I've spent a few years traveling the world and working in all sorts of jobs.
Now I'm exploring ways of helping you online! I have travelled by bike, car, boat and plane to 3 continents over the years and would love to hear about your country too. I love to learn new languages and help others achieve their language goals as well!Che tipo di insegnante sono
I use a headset or a professional recording mic to help you understand me, no matter where I am. My book classes offer a recording of the whole class, so you can also study alone! The classes are tailored to your needs, with my speed and vocabulary changing from one subject to another. All classes can be video, or voice as you require, though I recommend the video for ease of communicating the subtle nuances.
Classes can be book-based (I will use all my resources to structure your classes and help you learn!) I am also happy to take conversation (IELTS) classes.
Please, no students under 17yrs (I may accept a trial or 30-minute lesson to see if we are compatible however, it is unlikely).Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
I have a strong focus on pronunciation, intonation, and learning through a 20/80 system. All classes are confidential and relaxed. You can drink, smoke, walk or sit in your bedroom. (Maybe don't be drunk in class though!)
I learned to speak French through conversation (before I began my education there) and believe that practice is key to developing good pronunciation. Pronouncing words correctly can make all the difference in your speech. I prefer to talk about whatever interests you most and try to have as fluid a conversation as possible. I can help you pick out subjects, break down new words and increase your vocabulary throughout our lessons. All class material is yours to keep!Il mio materiale didattico

Dom took the time to make note of my learning style and started my learning journey at what I think is exactly the right level for me. This made for a great first lesson. I really enjoyed it and look forward to learning more with Dom - he's very easy to get along with which made the lesson comfortable and fun. I'd highly recommend him as a French tutor :)
