Hello everyone, I'm Colette and I'm from the UK. I gained my Teacher of English as a Foreign Language certificate (TEFL) in 2018, after living and teaching abroad. I've been teaching online ever since.
I have a bachelors degree in French and Spanish, and I also have a management qualification from the Institute of Leadership and Management.
I have spent the majority of my working life in Corporate Administration and Management so Business English is one area I can help you out with.
I also want to help with your pronunciation and general conversation, to sound more like a native!Che tipo di insegnante sono
I have had a strong interest in languages since High School, and I also speak French and Spanish. This adds value to my teaching as I fully understand the difficulties you face, an certain 'problem areas' (hello grammar and phrasal verbs!) I find the key to gaining more fluency is practise, practise practise, particularly with your spoken English.
As i'm also a language learner myself, I have lots of patience and I don't want you to be afraid of making mistakes. It's part of the learning process and we learn from them.
It is extremely rewarding for me to see you progress, make links and use new vocabulary in our lessons.

I want you to find my lessons fun and informative. I will help you with your pronunciation and grammar, Business English, or simply help you to gain more confidence with your spoken English through conversation practise.
I will use current news articles, videos and will focus on grammar points if I think there is a particular area that you need to work on. I will teach you idioms and phrasal verbs that we use in everyday life as these are going to help you massively and you will certainly impress native speakers with your knowledge of these!Il mio materiale didattico

Thank you, Colette for the efficient and interesting lesson. It was very interesting to discuss and express the ideas about the women equality. I start feeling myself confident, don't to be shy when speaking and expressing the ideas. I appreciate for your tips how to improve English in complex, for the new vocabulary and interesting native expressions that you have shared during the lesson. This was my second session with Colette, and I've like it so far. She is nice and friendly and explains to me every word or expression I don't understand. We have had casual talks, but she also prepares material. This time I wanted to check a specific topic, and she covered it better than I expected, thank you Colette :)
