どうもありがとう for レッスン 150! Thank you for being a 素晴らしい先生, エミさん! I'm very happy that I found my way to your classroom, almost 2 years ago! All the progress I've made with my Japanese studies has been thanks to you and our 楽しい lessons together. Let's hit 200 before the end of the year! がんばって!

This teacher is really fantastic. She will often point out things that you do that sound non-native, so you can perfect your linguistic ability and sound more like a native Japanese. It is hard to find a teacher that points such things out. I definitely recommend this teacher.

Every lesson with Emi-san is full of laughter and I feel really accomplished when we finish. We are now having bits of conversation in simple Japanese, something I wasn't sure I'd ever been able to do, and it's all thanks to her enthusiasm and niceness that motivates me to keep up studying.

Great lesson with Emi! We read the writing exercise that I wrote. Emi helped me fix the mistakes. After that, Emi quizzed me on the vocabulary from lesson 10. We continued doing the exercises from lesson 10. Emi also gave me a homework to translate sentences into Japanese. It was a fun lesson with Emi and we shared some good laughs while reading my story!

A year and around 250 hours later, I’m still surprised by how fast time flies when I'm talking with Emi-san. Talking to her feels like learning how to laugh in a new language—the kind of smile that follows me into the rest of the day. She’s kind, brilliantly quick on her feet, and her playful teasing (..🥲) keeps me laughing while the grammar sinks in. She adapts in seconds and makes the hard parts feel simple, because she’s that good and passionate about what she does—and my much-improved Japanese tells the story. にほんご を べんきょう し に きました が、もっと すばらしい もの を みつけました。 ゆうもあで まねき、いざ と いう とき は しんけん、さいご まで おだやか——これ ぞ えみさん。 If you’re looking for a teacher who is warm, smart, and fun, you’ll be very happy with Emi-san.
