Canounchka is a wonderful instructor. I appreciate her patience, encouragement, creativity, and overall teaching method which have made my learning experience both enjoyable and effective. What sets Canounchka apart is her ability to incorporate current events, my interests, and real life situations into the lessons, making the material relevant and very engaging.

I always enjoy my lessons with Canouchka. She is so helpful, encouraging, and a joy to talk to. We keep a very detailed Google Doc of all my progress- including homework assignments and new vocabulary and common mistakes I make when speaking French. The organization helps me learn from my previous mistakes and gives me a sense of all the progress I have made over the last year. I highly recommend taking lessons with Canouchka to improve your French regardless of your level!

Canouchka gives great material for conversations each week, and is diligent and kind when giving corrections. She has a friendly demeanour that makes each lesson fly by.

I cannot recommend Canouchka enough. I've had too many French teachers and tutors to count and she has honestly been the very best out of all of them by far. She's so interested, enthusiastic, and helpful; I don't know how she has the energy, but she's always so positive and patient. I always look forward to our lessons and I can't believe how well my French has improved from just a few short lessons. I hope that she never stops tutoring because I don't know how I'd progress without her.

I have worked with many tutors on iTalki and I truly enjoyed my class with Canouchka, she is super positive (a bit of context: I am quite the pessimist in my life outlook) and patient, and the class was an excellent balance between encouraging me to talk, her responses to move the conversation forward, and corrections/ suggestions to rephrase. I ended my class feeling energised even though it's 10pm here for me -- I recommend Canouchka to anyone looking to accelerate their learning journey!
