Hello, I’m Matthew — an experienced and dedicated English teacher and tutor based in Bangkok, with over 15 years of expertise in conversational English and IELTS/TOEIC exam preparation. My goal is to help students achieve fluency, confidence, and outstanding results in their language assessments.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy gaming, reading, and spending quality time with my cats and family, reflecting my relaxed and approachable personality. My home classroom is designed to provide a comfortable and stress-free learning environment.

As a teacher, I am truly passionate about my work and genuinely enjoy helping students improve their language skills and overall abilities. My lessons are fun, engaging and laid-back, and I encourage students to ask plenty of questions.

My lessons largely focus on building vocabulary and developing strong communication skills. I have extensive experience teaching conversational English and preparing students for exams and tests, and I pride myself on being a dynamic, engaging and effective communicator. Totally recommended. There is always something to think about after his lessons. The direction how to improve your skills becomes more clear after a single meeting, that's what I appreciate the most.

This was my the first Trial class in italki. I was not so sure about the rule and process but Matthew guided me well. He is really a processional teacher.
