Stefano is great! I have been meeting with him for several months now. First he was teaching me Italian, and then he graciously said he'd be happy to teach me/converse with me in Spanish. He takes every opportunity to speak in the language you are learning, and he will encourage you to do the same. It's for the benefit of your language learning that you speak/listen as much as possible in your target language and he 100% understands this. Finally, he's really friendly, funny, helpful and patient. Plus, you can tell he really enjoys teaching as well as enjoying languages in general. All said, if it weren't for all the time I spent chatting with Stefano and learning from him, I would not have made nearly as much progress as I have, in both Italian and Spanish. So, I highly recommend you take classes with Stefano. You won't regret it.

Ho passato due ore fantastiche con Stefano. Parla chiaramente e perfettamente aggiustato a mio livello. Invece di tradurre le parole che non capisco in inglese, prova spiegarmele in italiano con tanta pazienza. Secondo me questo è il modo giusto di imparare una lingua. Grazie mille, ci vediamo!

Although my Italian is very rudimentary, Stefano was kind enough to talk to me in Italian the whole time and simplify when I didn't understand. I'm starting to feel more confident.
