Γεια σας! I’m Lilia, a linguist and Greek language specialist with a BA in Greek Philology and an MA in Linguistics. My work as a grammar book author, dictionary compiler, translator / editor, and researcher has given me deep insight into Greek’s structure, vocabulary, and cultural richness. My work on several languages has given me the skills to know exactly where to focus based on your native tongue. I will listen to your use of the Greek language and offer advice or I can leave it to you to decide what you want to learn and how. I will strive to share my love for Greek to keep your motivation high, which is number one in language learning, do you agree? I successfully passed my B1 exam in January 2026!
I have been studying with Lilia since January 2025. Although I wasn't a complete beginner when we started, it was with Lilia that I began my intensive exam preparation.

Lilia was very helpful, patient and knowledgeable. We had a good conversation in Greek and she helped fill in the blanks in my vocabulary and provided very pertinent explanations.
