Ruth

My first lesson was incredible. I had a wonderful time practicing in an environment where my limited German was welcomed and went a long way. Even in the short time I was able to identify gaps in my thinking, speaking, and understanding that I can no go back and address. I look forward to booking another lesson and bringing even more. Ruth is amazing positive and enthusiastic making for a space that cultivates and encourages learning. Can’t wait until next time.

Another excellent lesson, even though I was feeling a little unwell. We talked at length about a recent weekend away that I had had in Paris to play real/court tennis, which prompted discussion of some new vocabulary. We reviewed some feedback from my previous lesson that Ruth had sent me and then discussed some of the "goings on" in the USA, which again was a prompt to learn a few more words and practice getting my sentence structure right when speaking. I find the latter harder than when writing and must try harder!

Ruth schlägt immer interessante Themen zur Diskussion vor. Der Unterricht verläuft dynamisch und spannend. Ich fühle mich wohl beim Sprechen und freue mich schon auf die nächste Stunde.

Ruth is a fantastic person and an outstanding teacher who brings interesting topics matching your taste but lets you run wild with your thoughts if you're in flow. She is full of positivity and enthusiasm, while making you gently aware of your improvement areas. I highly recommend her.
