Thea

If you are interested in languages, Thea is a fantastic teacher/tutor/coach. Currently I'm focused on French but I'm also still improving in Spanish and I'm beginning vocabulary and grammar in Italian. Thea is able to compare and contrast various latin based languages with me. I find I can better remember grammar and vocabulary when I find similarities between French and Spanish or French and Italian. Furthermore because she is a passionate language learner herself, she always shares new resources and suggestions. My experience has always been great each and every week. Each class with Thea is a fun, interactive learning experience. She customises the lessons so they fit my way of learning and exploring the Spanish language. The variety of topics approached during the learning sessions is a great way to extend the vocabulary and to gain confidence in building more complex sentences. I highly recommend Thea as a tutor.

Thea is a most wonderful teacher! She takes the time to get to know you and tailors the curriculum based on your needs and how you learn best. She is very flexible and patient, making learning a lot less stressful. I've been a student for a few months and I can definitively say that I've learned more in my time with her than I could have on my own. She has wealth of knowledge not just with language and teaching techniques, but relevant experience with several different cultures. I would highly recommend her as an instructor ^_^

I loved Thea from the start her style is nothing close to the traditional methods of teaching...looking forward to my future lessons with her.

Thea is very friendly and does an amazing job. She discusses your goals and gives positive feedback. She is patient and helps in any way you need. She will learn your learning style and interests and gives you homework based off of that. She is so helpful!! I enjoyed class with her.

I love working with Thea! I'll probably say the same thing every week but she can teach a lot within one hour while we laugh and have fun. Which is exactly the style of learning I need and want to have while trying to get my 50 year old brain learning a new language. : )
