I'm Ninuk from Indonesia. I live in my hometown, Bekasi, a city located only 15 minutes away from Jakarta. I'm a native Indonesian speaker who speaks English at work. I love talking to people and listening to their stories. They always give me things to learn. My passion for sports can be seen in my enthusiasm to do them as hobby and watch live sports games in a stadium or circuit. I usually plan a holiday trip with a friend or two per year. It is very important to help refresh my mind and body. I have visited many places in Indonesia to see beautiful places, talk to locals and taste their original food.Che tipo di insegnante sono
I have been teaching English for about 7 years. In my workplace, I also help some native English teachers learn Indonesian language. I find it's fun. In 2017, I decided to go back to school and learn my mother tongue formally. I always encourage my students to share their interests and passions. Once I know what they are really into, they can speak even more than I expected. My lessons are always with visual aids to help students understand a topic better. For kids, Total Physical Response method always works. They are active and love physical activities to activate the language. However, to learn some certain topics, the method also works well with teens and adults. Everybody learns different ideas at different times at different paces. So, it is important for me to be flexible in applying different teaching styles.Il mio materiale didattico

I’ve had a few classes with Ibu Ninuk so far and she’s a great teacher ! I like the flow of her teaching style. She keeps the conversation moving while helping me translate my thoughts into Indonesian and making corrections as we go. I also notice she quickly adjusts to the limits of my vocabulary, using a lot of words I already know while adding in new words as our conversation progresses. She has a casual and thoughtful demeanor and it makes for a relaxing class that goes by quickly without me even noticing it. 😊🙏

Another great lesson with Ninuk! I love how she takes the time to write down words and phrases she uses throughout the lesson so that you have a complete transcript of everything you covered to look back on after the class finishes. I also really appreciate how she teaches you unique facts about Indonesia and shows you cool places you can visit on your travels. She has a real interest in you as a student and what your goals and interests are. I highly recommend her!

Ninuk is an amazing teacher! She cares so deeply about her students and really takes the time to talk to you about your interests and activities so that you know the vocabulary that you're most likely to use in Indonesian. She shares interesting information about Indonesian culture every lesson and isn't afraid of going a little overtime to finish a conversation or help you grasp a concept. I highly recommend her!
