I had a great second lesson with Chuan! After an interesting conversation about school in the US vs. China, we learned vocabulary related to travel and airports. The material she uses is organized very nicely, and I enjoy learning and reviewing with it. The dialogues with characters, pinyin, and English translation are especially helpful, because then I can learn the words and grammar in context. I look forward to the next lesson!

We had a very good class this week. We talked about how children go camping and what games they play in the US and in parts of China. I learned a lot of new vocabulary that I can go back to in the chat later to study. Chuan is always interesting and patient and iTalki has worked super well for my hobby of studying Chinese.

I appreciated how she had a game plan for the day and walked me through a topic that I expressed interest in. I also appreciated how she went down rabbit holes with me to learn more about words that I asked about. Thank you for the lesson!

Chuan is a great conversationalist who balances listening and talking well. She is outgoing and talkative, which helps me with improving listening comprehension.
