I have over three years of experience teaching Chinese on italki, focusing on conversational practice for students at different levels. I also teach English full-time in China, working with students from middle school to college. Previously, I was a business assistant supporting a tech company in promoting software overseas, which strengthened my skills in communication and cross-cultural understanding. I have been enjoying learning Chinese with Luyang! Not only she is a very fun and patient teacher to talk to, I am impressed with her methodology. After a fun conversation she reviews with me new words, correct pronunciation and grammar. After the class I can always access her well organized review note and it is really convenient and effective.

Fantastic lesson as always! Luyang is a great teacher and I'm really thankful to have her, I really appreciate all of the pointers and things she picks up on to improve my grammar and speaking. I look forward to classes every week and they're always fun and interesting

I have had lessons with quite a few different Chinese teachers on italki, She is my favorite. I was looking for someone to practice speaking with that could help me with grammar and to be more confident that what I was saying could be understood. I really look forward to future lessons, she is a great teacher you will not be disappointed.
