I was working as a kindergarten teacher for three years after I graduated college. After that, I lived in the US for two years to learn English. I have experience as working at a Japanese language school and teaching Japanese language to private students. I've been a professional teacher for eight years. English is my second language, so I can empathize with others who are also learning a new language.
日本では大学卒業後、幼稚園教諭として3年間の経験があり子どもの拙い日本語を優しく指導してきました。そして英語を学ぶ為、渡米し二年間コロラド州に住んでいました。現地の日本語学校での職務経験とフリーランスとして多数の生徒たちに日本語を指導してきましたので、プロの講師としては8年目になります。英語は私の母国語ではないので、私も他言語を学んだ一人として、他言語を学ぶ人の気持ちがよくわかります。 Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
I am able to teach students of all levels. I can use English while teaching or teach exclusively in Japanese. I teach through conversation so you will learn practical Japanese that is useful for daily life. If you have questions or you want me to explain more you can ask me anytime. Akane-sensei has been teaching my son Japanese for several months now, and he looks forward to lessons! She is a friendly, encouraging, engaging teacher and he even loves doing her homework. Thanks to Akane-sensei, my son is now teaching me Japanese. She definitely makes learning Japanese fun! ありがとうございますあかね先生！

My son loves having lessons with Akane, I believe it is genuinely one of the highlights of his week. He looks forward to his Japanese lesson all week. Akane is so positive and encouraging and shares so many interesting things with him. She's also very open to feedback and tailoring the lessons to have more or less of a focus on different things like the Japanese characters as you would like. Thank you Akane, you are a wonderful teacher!!

My 7-year-old son had his introductory Japanese lesson and it was fantastic! Akane-sensei was interactive, engaging, and patient, making the session fun and easy to follow. The lesson felt very immersive, with conversation that kept my son interested the entire time. He came away excited to learn more and already remembered a few new words! It was a wonderful first experience, and we’re looking forward to continuing lessons.

I am lucky to have found Akane-sensei to teach my son a month ago. She is a genuine professional teacher with a talent for imparting and nurturing Japanese language skills, and her lessons are an enjoyable and valuable part of his education. He speaks in Japanese throughout her lessons, and he has made noticeable progress already.

Akane Sensei is honestly one of the few bright spots in my life right now, and it seems like she genuinely cares about her students too. I always enjoy doing lessons with her ^_^
