Dear students,
I am a 28 year-old French native/English bilingual living in the US. I got my Bachelor's Degree in Foreign languages and went on to get my Master's Degree in International Business in Paris. I've taught French to kids in Australia for 1 year and college students in the US when I was an exchange student at the University of Montana. I am a fun, friendly and caring teacher who is willing to teach kids and adults from all ages and share my multi-cultural experience. I am very engaged and prepared in my teaching.
- Fun because I am an open-minded person who focus my lessons on the student's interests (conversations, debates, press articles). It's especially important for kids that learn with games and lots of laughs.
- Interactive because I use online ressources such as ebooks, online videos with interactional exercices, songs, short movies, audios, etc.
- Grammar and conjugation are essentials to properly learn a new language. I create my own lessons with lots of engaging exercices.Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
I personally suggest 2 lessons per week : one focused on grammar and conjugation and one based on conversations and oral comprehensive. I also evaluate my students once in awhile to keep track of the progress and difficulties. I also suggest homework. I can train students who are willing to pass exams such as the DELF, job interviews in French and enter in an international school or a specific high school/college.
I also want to teach French culture, idiomatic expressions in order for you to learn the "French lifestyle". I want to share my knowledge of France with my personal experience as a French native and cultural differences.Il mio materiale didattico

Juliane is just incredible. My 6 year old son always looks forward to her lessons.

Juliane is an excellent teacher, my son enjoys greatly her lessons. Her methods are fun and interactive, she helps him to be more confident and to develop and strengthen important skills. Juliane is also patient and flexible, she goes above and beyond to be helpful. We deeply appreciate her work!

I was very nervous but Juliane made the lesson feel comfortable by creating a relaxed environment that enabled me to speak in French without worrying too much. She asked lots of questions to find out what I wanted to learn and how I wanted to learn. I think she would be an excellent teacher.

Comme toujours, Juliane est tres patiente. Ce lecon, j'ai pose des questions sur les adverbes et des mots specifiques, et Juliane m'a donne pleusieurs exercices difficiles. Ils m'ont casse le cerveau. Elle est une prof super!
