Hello 👋
My name is Scott and I'm a professional languages teacher from Australia.👩🏫
I now live in Belgium and speak several languages fluently.
I have a degree in education and languages, and am also a professional translator and linguist. I have been teaching for many years, both in schools and as a private tutor, to students of all ages.
I love to travel and discover new cultures and learn about their history, cuisine and traditions ✈
I also enjoy discovering new literature, cinema and music from other countries. 🎬𝄞 🎶
In my spare time I enjoy making cheese - feta, haloumi, camembert, St Paulin... all kinds! 🧀

My aim is to make you feel at ease and comfortable so that you can feel confident enough to speak and make mistakes, so that we can address and resolve them together as a team.
I believe making mistakes is important when learning. I will help you to correct yourself, so that you fully understand the grammar and pronunciation behind the conversation. 📖

Each student has their own goals and objectives when learning a language, so my lessons are tailored to suit your needs.
If your aim is to improve your speaking skills, I offer relaxed conversation-based lessons where we can discuss different topics and discover new vocabulary naturally. If you are preparing for an exam, an interview or have a more formal, acadamic requirement, I also offer more structured classes. Additionally, I offer more advanced lessons to students who want to expand their vocabulary even further and talk at a native level. 🗣️
