I have a University Degree (BSc Occupational Therapy) and a TEFL qualification. I now aim to combine my background as a health professional with teaching English to those working in a healthcare setting.
As a language learner myself (I’m currently learning Spanish) I understand the difficulties faced when learning a new language. I am friendly, approachable and patient. I ensure my students feel as relaxed as possible during lessons as I’m aware of how daunting it can be when learning a new language.Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
Day to day I work alongside various professionals including Medics, Psychologists, Nurses and Allied Health Professionals (OTs, Physios, SALT) and many others. I aim to help students within these roles to communicate confidently and clearly with patients and colleagues in a health setting. During lessons, we can focus on improving all key skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing, which are required within this professional environment. If there is something that you would like to specifically focus on, I can plan my lessons to help you achieve your personal goals.
