I usually make handouts for each client to suit their individual needs. These handouts prepared before hands.
Noting additional information on the handouts while sharing it on the screen.
Clear their grammar questions firstly and focus on their target. The lesson are carried by using many kind of topics or what they want.

Today I continued to learn how to talk about commutes and give directions and understand them for when taking the train. It is a subject that requires skill but Tomoko was patient with me and helped me understand the concept. I'm improving every lesson thanks to her.

Today we continued to study directions and time markers for duration. This was the hardest subject so far but Tomoko made it easy to understand and corrected my mistakes so that I can better learn how to not repeat them.

Another great lesson with Tomoko, we continued to work on -te form and its different uses. I learned a lot of new vocabulary and she let me know the next lesson will be difficult and gave me some homework to prepare. Looking forward to advancing my skills.

I learned te form today from Tomoko. I have studied it before but her explanation is the best I’ve gotten, she is able to give context for why we use certain rules for specific verbs which I didn’t fully understand before. Looking forward to the next lesson.

Another great class with Tomoko. We reviewed the conjugations of adjectives and I practiced making sentences. It was fun to use real life examples when making sentences, I look forward to my next clas.
