I was born in California, in the United States and moved to England when I was six years old. My father is American and my mother English, so I have dual nationality.
I am passionate about language learning and have taught myself French to an intermediate level. I love reading and in particular classic literature, having gained an A grade in English Literature at GCSE level. I am a positive individual who loves a new challenge - in fact I have competed at the World Championships for Irish Dancing three times and have been on tour twice. I am an outgoing person who loves to meet new people from different backgrounds and cultures. I make conversation the primary focus of lessons so that students can learn to construct sentences correctly and fluently. I also tailor lesson plans for those who need them. I communicate clearly and concisely. Tom is a good teacher. He spent 15 minutes to talk with my son to understand his English level and noticed his weakness and errors. Tom is nice and patient.
