I am Aurélie and I come from Soissons, a small city in the North of France. I have lived in different regions of France (Reims - the Champagne region and Strasbourg, famous for its Christmas market) as well as abroad (Ipswich, UK - Melbourne and Sydney, Australia - Germany).
When I have free time, I like hiking, drinking a glass of white wine with my friends or spending time with my 6 year-old nephew. I am learning German right now though I am still a beginner. I am open-minded and love to discover new cultures and talk about different topics such as cinema, music, the news...Che tipo di insegnante sono
I've been teaching languages for almost 10 years. I fell in love with teaching when I was working as a language assistant in a boarding school in England. I went there after I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in English. When I came back to France, I went back to college and graduated with a Master's degree in Foreign Languages Didactics. I worked in France mainly with adults and teenagers. I also worked in the Alliance Française in Sydney and Melbourne while I was in Australia. I've taught people of all level and background. I also have extensive knowledge on the DELF/DALF exam as well as the TCF exam.Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
Each lesson has a lexical, grammatical and cultural angle. I use textbooks, exercise books, PDF and Words documents. You don't have to buy a book. I create a document based on a textbook but I usually add more material. I use videos and audio files (dialogues - radio shows - podcasts) as well as newspaper articles adapted to your level. First, we study a document, then we work on the vocbulary and at the end we study a grammatical rule. The lessons are mostly in French (though I am more lenient with beginners).Il mio materiale didattico

I have been taking French lessons with Ms. Aurélie for a little over six months. When I first started, I could barely speak out loud, but now I feel like I have progressed so much. Ms. Aurélie is always prepared and very professional. She is such a kind and patient teacher. She is able to explain complicated grammar concepts in a way that makes sense for new learners. I am very grateful to her for her work. I highly recommend Ms. Aurélie!

Aurélie asked questions which were good to get conversation started and had exercises for comprehension of spoken word. She was patient and helpful.

Ms. Aurélie is such a kind, patient, and friendly teacher. I could barely string together a sentence when I began taking lessons with her and now I feel a lot more confident in my abilities to speak, read, understand, and write in French. I look forward to every lesson. I would highly recommend her. Merci beaucoup !

I enjoyed the attentiveness shown and the relaxed personality of my teacher! She was easy to understand and offered a good combination of giving me a chance to learn and speak while still assessing my levels of French speaking and comprehension.

Always a fantastic lesson with Ms. Aurélie. I feel that I have learned and progressed so much after learning with her. I couldn't imagine myself being able to speak French like this when I first started. Merci beaucoup !
