This was my first trial class with Terry. He was very kind and patient. I’m very shy about speaking Chinese because my level is not very high. We spoke Chinese for almost the entire class. He helped me learn how to say what I wanted to say, and he encouraged me to keep going even when I hesitated. He also gave me useful phrases that I can practice on my own. What really helped a lot was that he used pinyin throughout the lesson, it made it much easier for me to follow along and pronounce new words correctly, especially since I'm still not confident with the characters. On top of that, you can really feel that he genuinely cares about his students. He didn't just rush, he paid close attention to my struggles, adjusted the pace to match my level, and made sure I truly understood everything before moving on. I really appreciated his supportive approach, and I left the class feeling more confident than I expected. I’m already looking forward to our next lesson.

Terry is such a great teacher and is really enthusiastic. I felt at ease during his lesson and I learnt a lot of new vocabulary and sentences. It was really great practising my speaking skills and I felt comfortable trying to express myself in Chinese. Thank you so much for today's lesson and I look forward to the next one.
