We discussed marriage halls and Sayumi-san showed me a current pop dance she'll be doing. We also talked about the weddings I've been to and what we normally do for the receptions.

I decided to take conversation classes with Sayumi sensei to practice my spoken japanese for my upcoming oral exam for masters degree studies. Sayumi sensei was very nice and supportive and conversations with her were very interesting! I highly recommend her to everyone who wants to practice their japanese conversation skills!

We discussed plans for the day and reviewed Chapter 21 in Genki 2. Sayumi-san had to correct me several times, but I think I'm getting the hang of the passive form!

Sayumi sensei, as always you’re a wonderful teacher. I can tell that I’m getting better with speaking in Japanese when conversing with you, though I am also aware I’ve shown a little bit of struggling with the learning.
