My teaching style is patient and kind. I use my varied experience as a software engineer, charity worker and public speaking group leader, along with extensive training in IELTS, a CERT EDI TEFL level 5 certificate, and a native British accent not related to any particular region of Britain to create great learning experiences for my students. Over the last couple of months, Kate has been teaching me how to effectively structure Task 1 and Task 2 essays for IELTS. Together, we read through all of my essays word by word and Kate provided valuable suggestions on the adjustments necessary to achieve my target band. I have also benefitted from self-studying collocations with the materials Kate picked up for me, and it made wonders for the quality of my writing. Since it was my first time to prepare for IELTS, I had no idea what to do. But thanks to this lesson, I get to know what to prepare, what is important, and how i can improve my speaking. It was really helpful, truly. I reckon everybody who takes this class wil get help a lot.

This was my last class with Kate, and I must say she is absolutely wonderful. She takes the time to explain things like grammatical structures with creative examples and different perspectives, making everything easier to understand. I mainly practiced writing and speaking with her, and she provided excellent tips that are incredibly useful for the IELTS.
Highly recommended! She is very empathetic, so donβt hesitate to choose her!
