Hello friends, I live in the city of Buenos Aires.
I want to express to you that you will find in me a friendly, optimistic, persevering person, interested in learning new things. I enjoy teaching Spanish to students from many parts of the world, reading and commenting on works of universal literature as well as Latin American authors. I am a movie lover, I listen to music, I practice yoga and I like to cook because I am interested in having a healthy diet.Che tipo di insegnante sono
About my professional training: I have a degree in Literature and a Master's degree in Latin American Literature. I have extensive experience teaching phonology, grammar, linguistic theory and reading and writing techniques.
I received the Meritorious Professor III award on two occasions from the National Commission of the System of Recognition of Merit for Professionals of the National Universities of my country, Venezuela. I have written two books of poetry.
I taught remotely at the National Open University of Venezuela.
In the last three years I have taught Spanish as a foreign language on online platforms, to students from many parts of the world. This has allowed me to keep my mindLe mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
My classes are aimed at adolescent and adult students at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. I consider it is important to attend to the student's interests and adapt strategies to improve comprehension, speaking, reading and writing. I take care of pronunciation, vocabulary and grammatical aspect. In my teaching I use motivating readings, such as articles with current topics, podcasts, videos.
It is important to teach my classes with empathy and joy, because this contributes to the teaching and learning process.
I use my knowledge of English to clarify topics when necessary.

También asignaturas sobre la historia de Venezuela y Latinoamérica.

Another very nice lesson with Ana. We first work on some important grammatical concepts and then apply this knowledge when reading and discussing a text or poem. Looking forward to the next lesson!

I have had multiple lessons with Ana and I really enjoy her approach! She breaks grammatical concepts down in a clear way and then provides useful practice opportunities. She is a lovely instructor and I already see improvements in my Spanish :)

I've taken three classes with Ana. She has been very helpful. She has a good system for walking students through grammar concepts, and has her own exercises which are helpful for "forcing" me to practice the things she teaches. I would definitely recommend working with her.
