Isabelle

This was out trial class so we were just getting to know one another, and isabelle was very thorough in trying to understand my goals and my interests and explain the way she teaches so I would understand her methods. It was a great introduction.

Isabelle is simply the best!

I have now taken many classes with Isabelle; they have all been excellent. She is very patient and excels at customizing materials to the level of the student. She does a great job gently correcting grammar and pronunciation so that students learn more and still have fun. Her lessons are wonderful!

I have been studying French with Isabelle for two years. She is kind and patient, and she incorporates my background and interests into our lessons. We generally begin by talking about every day occurrences to practice speaking and to reinforce common vocabulary. Then she always has a plan for moving my French forward. She takes good notes of strengths and areas for improvement and finds interactive and interesting ways to build my vocabulary, comprehension, and correct grammar and usage. When I ask to discuss certain topics or review information, she incorporates those into our next lesson. For example, if I am traveling, she will choose topics related to the place I will visit. She encourages effort and open communication. Isabelle is a professional teacher and is now preparing me to take the B2 Diplome exam. I could not have gotten to this point without her instruction. I look forward to each and every lesson!
