I have a diploma in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL/TESOL), and have learned several methodologies and approaches to teaching depending on the many ways that a person can learn. I have taught math, physics, and English to high school and college students. I enjoy teaching and love learning from everyone that I get to know. I love speaking and writing in my language and have read much of its literature. From my own experience, I know the best way to learn any subject is to genuinely enjoy it. And the best way to learn a language is learning and practicing new words and expressions in a safe, encouraging, and enjoyable context. Laura is a really good teacher. She has a great balance of professionalism and yet also very personable and easy to talk to. She is really patient and works with me to make sure I am getting what I need from the lessons. She is well prepared yet ready for anything ☺️☺️

I really enjoy practicing Spanish with Laura. She is patient and knows a lot about different topics which makes our conversations very interesting and informative. I would definitely recommend her as a tutor as she always comes prepared with material for class and is always looking to help you improve your Spanish.

I always look forward to my lessons with Laura. I was having a bad day, and my lesson with Laura helped get my mind off it and channel my feelings into learning more Spanish. I really like that she has introduced me to many Latin American writers, and I enjoy our discussions about literature.
