Hi! I'm Mónica from Mexico City. I studied Linguistics and Spanish Literature, and I’ve taught over 5,000 classes on italki. I love languages and my dream is to speak as many as possible. I discovered my love for teaching by helping exchange students at university. Since then, I've combined my passion for Spanish and Mexico City in dynamic, culture-rich lessons. I also give cultural tours, so I’ll share language tips and local secrets too! I focus on helping you speak from day one, using natural methods, patience, and encouragement. As usual Mónica is a fantastic teacher. I can notice an improvement with my Spanish and I am excited to improve even more. I am also becoming more confident when I speak and a little less hesitant. I definitely recommend Monica if you are looking for a teacher.

Mónica is an excellent teacher. She is knowledgeable and answers my questions no matter how ridiculous. She also customizes each class based on what I want to work on as well as the areas in which I could use more practice. The homework she gives is useful and interesting. I highly recommend taking a class with Mónica.
