Hello, I am a French teacher living in Scotland. I was studying for a Master's degree in Languages and Applied Human Science when I moved to Scotland to be a foreign language assistant. I ended up on a island in the North sea and discovered the teaching profession. I then moved to Glasgow where I did my teacher training at Glasgow University. I graduated in 2015 and I have been teaching French ever since.
I am passionate about learning and teaching, and in my free time I also like making music with my friends, watching films, reading, playing video games and walking in the countryside.Che tipo di insegnante sono
I believe that when we learn a language, we need to get talking and keep practicing to get used to it. I also firmly believe that mistakes and errors are a sign we are learning something, and an accent is a sign of bravery. Therefore I am very encouraging and make my students express themselves. You can do it too!

During the first lesson, we'll break the ice, discuss your level, your targets and how to achieve them. We'll then draw a programme together.
If you decide to stick with me, you'll discover that the lessons contain authentic documents such as videos, songs, articles, etc., grammatical explanation where you'll investigate and formulate the rules, we'll do some practice and get you applying what you learn in speaking and writing.
We can use Italki classroom or Zoom.

Debo has been just an incredible teacher for my teen children, very thorough, assigning a curriculum and homework, and helping them practice areas where they struggle. They have made progress quite quickly. She has a great connection with them and they enjoy working with her.

Debo is a fantastic teacher. Very committed to making sure my daughter learns in a way and at a pace that works for her. Debo is also extremely organized which is exactly what my daughter needs. My daughter is excited about classes with Debo next week.
