Hi, there! My name is Bella and I ... am a teacher, obviously, but I'm also a language learner myself. I'm sure my professional and personal experience will be helpful to those who are on their way to become confident speakers.
Currently I live in Germany and work with refugees. I teach German and also learn a lot from my students. There as well as in my personal life I try to show practical solidarity with people who were forced to leave their country.
Apart from languages I enjoy travelling, hiking, music, yoga, reading and spending time with my friends and family :)
The thing which makes my teaching helpful is that I pay attention not only to the lesson itself, but also to the preparation and follow-up tasks which you can receive as a homework assignments. As I work as a teacher in everyday life too, I know how important it is to consider different aspects of methodology and language learning and acquisition such as spaced repetition, student talking time, different kinds of approaches, i.e., lexical, and other.
I see learning a language through the lens of a learner as well. I fluently speak 3 languages and am at the moment learning 2 more!
I always strive to make every single lesson efficient, so that you really feel that you've learned something. In our classes we'll engage in all sorts of activities from watching Vox pops to discussing culture.

I couldn't recommend Bella enough as a teacher: she is incredibly patient and caters lessons perfectly for your level, using interesting and varied materials to help along the way.

Bella is an amazing teacher! She's always very prepared for the lessons, and I always feel like she has a plan tailored to my needs.
She has a very nice vibe and I always feel comfortable during the lessons, and this is also motivating me to come back regularly, which I find super important.
I'm looking forward to a long learning plan with her! 😄
