I’ve been teaching English since 2006 in academies, bilingual schools, and one-to-one settings. I’ve worked with learners from 6 months old to older adults, across Cambridge levels A1–C2. My approach is always student-centered—focused on individual goals, learning styles, and clear progress. I use various methods and adapt each class to suit the student. Over the years, I’ve learned many teaching methods, but first I get to know how you learn best. Prefer textbooks? Great. More into conversations, games, or real-life projects? We can do that too. Laurea triennale - Hispanic Studies and Minor in Latin American StudiesIt may seem that strange that it took me seven years to finish my Bachelor's. Let me explain. I started in 1996 in San Francisco, California, studying photography. I then started studying Spanish, Women's Studies, and Photography at the City College of San Francisco up until 2000. Then in 2000, I went to Madrid, Spain, to work on my Spanish and teach English. After, I studied at Mesa College, San Diego, and then transferred to Lewis & Clark College to finish my degree and study abroad in Chile.

I've been preparing for the CAE exam with teacher Anna, and I feel that my communication skills for the Speaking part have significantly improved. She is very helpful and patient, and she genuinely cares about your specific learning needs. She provides useful materials and corrects your mistakes in a respectful and kind manner.
He estado preparando el examen CAE con la profesora Anna y siento que he mejorado significativamente mis habilidades de comunicación para la parte de Speaking. Es una profesora cálida y paciente que se adapta de manera personalizada a tus necesidades de aprendizaje. Corrige tus errores con amabilidad y respeto. Además, habla español, por lo que, si te da miedo tomar clases con un profesor que solo habla inglés, la recomiendo totalmente. Entiende muy bien las dificultades específicas que enfrentamos los hispanohablantes al aprender inglés.

I am studying with Anna for the C2 Cambridge Proficiency Exam. Anna is 150% dedicated, has a unique way of teaching, and is very fun!
