Maria is so encouraging and welcomes all view points. As she’s told me, “there are no stupid questions” and “there is no right or wrong answer.” Although speaking with natives is nerve wracking, I’m slowly coming out of my shell and that can only be attributed to Maria’s warmth and patience. It is clear that she doesn’t only see this as a job, but as a passion and something that she loves doing. I look forward to every weekly class with Maria and I can’t wait for her and I to get to know each other even more. :) Thank you for all you do!

I've been learning Spanish for about 5 years and María is one of the best professors I have come across. She is very warm, approachable, and kind while at the same time professional and observant so she can correct my grammatical errors. I felt like I was in a plateau until I started having classes with her and I know I will progress farther. I really enjoy her organization of classes and notes and she will give me informative handouts via digital pdf after class to review more. María really goes above and beyond, if you're brand new to learning Spanish María will help you begin with a strong foundation and if you're looking to build off what you already have María will take you to the next level. Highly recommend!

Maria has been my teacher for over a year and I can’t recommend her enough! She is a very kind person who is easy to talk to, which makes learning from her a great experience. She provides enough structure to keep you organized and progressing but is able to flex to your learning style and interests. 10/10 recommend

María is the best Spanish teacher I have worked with on italki. We have been working with each other for almost two years now. She’s extremely caring, knowledgeable, and patient. She meets you at your level and caters lessons to what you want to focus on. I can’t recommend her enough

I couldn’t be happier with Maria Alejandra! I’ve tried several teachers and she’s been able to understand what I’m looking for to better my Spanish skills and provide prompts to be able to see where my gaps are. She also has a multitude of resources to help me. I’m really excited to keep working with her!

Maria is a nice person and easy to talk to, she knows how to create a comfortable learning environment and provides lot of study materials. I would recommend her to anyone who wants to learn Spanish.
