My name is Gerardo, I'm a mexican filmmaker living in Lyon, France. I work as a cameraman and editor and I teach some spanish lessons on my free days.
I'm passionate about art in general, specially litterature and films (in that order).
I like to meet new people and different cultures, I've lived in 4 countries (Mexico, USA, Italy and France) and travelled around some other in Europe and South America. I love to cook, specially mexican food so between lessons I can give you some recipes and teach to prepare some traditional mexican dishes.Che tipo di insegnante sono
My mother language is spanish, I start to teach spanish as a part time job on 2015, while I was in college in Lyon, France. I've always had 2 or 3 students since then, mostly french students that were preparing themselves for the bac (high school diploma in France). Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
I like to have a "get to know each other" first experience with my students. I like to know what are their goals, hobbies, what do they expect from the lessons, their spanish level etc. so I can develop a personalized course for them.
I've had a couple of grammar and exercises books and I can give some excercises to do but I prefer to do more practical stuff: talking about a film, a book, teaching them a song in spanish, having a cooking lessons, etc. All of this depending on their level and their likes.Il mio materiale didattico

Very enjoyable lesson! I had a great speaking practise and Gerardo adapted to my level very well which let me feel comfortable. Looking forward to more classes and highly recommend!
