Dana

After a few months now I can say for sure that Dana is my best teacher. I know that everybody has a different style of learning and Dana adapted perfectly to mine. She is very encouraging and motivates me. I bet she is a great choice for everyone!

Dana makes me feel so comfortable which is incredibly important when learning a new language, especially one as hard as Arabic. I’ve seen so much progress since working with her & I’ve had other teachers. She cares about the progress we make & is so good at identifying how I need to improve and how we can get there together.

I had a great trial lesson with Dana! She’s warm, personable, and communicates clearly. We spent time discussing my background, my reasons for wanting to learn Arabic and my learning goals, and she seamlessly introduced how to express those ideas in Arabic as we progressed. She explained her teaching style and the materials she would use (PowerPoint slides), then walked me through a few slides so I could see what the lessons would be like. It was structured and well organized, but not so "academic" that it felt like a classroom. I appreciated how she tailored the conversation to me and kept the pace comfortable. I finished the session feeling confident, supported, and eager to keep learning. I highly recommend Dana! :)

Dana is an amazing teacher! She makes learning so fun, and she is great at finding new topics to challenge you to learn more and improve vocabulary and grammar. I've taken many language classes of many different styles but Dana's combination of discussion-based classes, supporting written materials, and homework is the best!

I love learning arabic with Dana. She is always focused on the class and tries to make it a great experience for me by engaging with me a lot but also letting me figure out my sentence by myself. She has a variety of topics prepared and is very flexible if you want to discuss something else. She is always very friendly and easy to talk to. Highly recommend!
