Jai from Taiwan

Jai is an incredibly organized, professional and experienced teacher. She has impressive linguistic knowledge which she uses to her advantage when explaining grammar and the meanings of characters. She draws on a variety of materials and engages with them, giving context on how different phrases are functionally used in conversation (rather than just reading from the textbook). Plus, she is not only rigorous, but patient and kind to beginners. 謝謝老師，辛苦了！

Jai's lessons are both helpful and interesting! I've really enjoyed learning more about Taiwan in addition to learning Mandarin. She speaks very clearly and is very good at understanding what I'm trying to say, even if I make mistakes. My lessons are mostly in Chinese and it's been great for building my confidence in speaking more.
