Today we spoke about my hanami in my own city. It was nice that they also sold food this year, I had some okonomiyaki! :-) Lisa sensei than showed me pictures of her trip to yokahama. It was interesting to see all the chinese shops. We tried to read some kanji on the shops as I have been practising kanji. It was fun and I am already looking forward to the next lesson.

Today we spoke about the metal parts that were placed during my jaw surgery. Unfortunately one of them has broken :'( Lisa sensei then showed me a lot of pictures of hakone of her recent trip. It was nice to see the beautiful mountains and the traditional buildings :-) We of course also spoke about the food for a long time. Now I'm hungry and want to climb a mountain!! XD I'm looking forward to next weeks lesson where Lisa sensei will show me pictures of her stay in Tokyo. :-)

Today we spoke about Lisa sensei's upcoming trip to the Tokyo dome. I hope she enjoys the baseball match! :-) We also spoke about my friends new reiki practice. I will go their to support her. We also spoke about an other friends trip to spain for his work. He builds shops for a living, but also has other projects he does. This time he's building a shop for a toilet chain. Which is interesting because in Japan toilets are just managed by the mall themselves. But in europe most of the time you have to pay to use a public toilet. The cultural difference was interesting :-) I'm looking forward to next weeks lesson!

Today we spoke about fuel problems. My friends car was filled with water instead of diesel, and Lisa sensei's neighbors accidentally had gasoline in their heater instead of kerosine which caused a fire. I'm glad they were not physically harmed. We also spoke about a local supermarket chain that sells all kinds of fruit deserts. They looked very oishii !! :-D We ended with talking about names. In the Netherlands we have a tradition of using biblical names. But lately people also have modern names like Vlinder (butterfly) and Maan (moon). In Japan this would be very normal, but hearing it in Dutch it sounds weird to me :-D I'm looking forward to next weeks lesson already!
