Hello! I am Lauren, a Native English speaker from Ireland. I am TEFL certified and I have experience teaching in language schools in Malta and Italy, as well as online here on Preply. I have helped many students to get better with their conversational English and I can help you too!
I believe your English does not need to be perfect for you to be able to have a conversation with and to be understood. In my lessons I always offer error corrections to help you become aware of the mistakes you are making, which is the first step to becoming better at the language.
Whatever your goal is, I am here to help you to become more confident with English.
I have been teaching English online since May 2021, and I have taught in English language schools in Italy and Malta. I hold a 120 hour TEFL certificate (TEFL Ireland). I use a humanistic approach to learning English. I am very patient and I try to make the lessons relaxed and enjoyable.
In my trial lessons I like to get to know the student and to talk about their goals with English, in order to see how I can be of help. I also like to make use of news articles in my classes. I think reading through authentic English material is a great way to increase your vocabulary, and by reading it aloud I can help you to correct your pronunciation.Il mio materiale didattico

She understands what you need and proposes interesting activities that are suitable for you. She corrects your mistakes with kindness and professionalism and gives you clear explanations for them. She also leaves you material to use if you want it. I am very satisfied!
