Lily

I've been taking lessons from Lily for quite a while now. She always has something prepared to talk about or work on for the DELF exam. She doesn't hesitate to correct your mistakes and is very helpful at enriching your vocabulary. She was always patient when I'd struggle uttering a sentence and suggested even more fluent ways of the said sentence. Definitely take her if you'd like someone with whom you can practice oral French.

I had a really good session with Lily! We talked about the "zéro déchet" movement which is small but growing in popularity in France, and a little bit about Emmanuel Macron, Trump's decision to withdraw from the Paris Climate Agreement, the attack in London last night and the UK's upcoming general election. Even though mid-way through the lesson my Skype suddenly quit for a few minutes, she gave me the full time of the lesson as soon as I was reconnected which I greatly appreciated.

Lily is an encouraging and patient French tutor. I highly recommend her for conversation practice! As an advanced speaker looking to practice conversational French, I found her fun to talk to and very supportive when I struggled to find the right words. She encouraged me to just put sentences together as best I could, then we'd work out what I meant together. Perfect!

My first class with Lily, she is very nice and patient. She corrected my errors when speak and gave me grammars points. 5 stars without second thought.

I really enjoyed my lessons with Lily. I had only one lesson per week, so my progress was slow but after a few months, I feel more confident speaking French step by step. As an introvert, this type of speaking lesson with Lily helped me more than traditional group classes. It was also fun chatting with her. Merci beaucoup :)

Lily is amazing, incredibly kind and patient, and helps tailor each lesson with my growth (or fatigue) depending on the week. Cannot thank her enough for increasing my vocabulary and confidence!
