Hello. My name is Pearl from the Philippines. I worked as an English as a Second Language Teacher for a year and as a Nurse Educator for 4 years using English as a medium of instruction. I've been an online English Tutor for 4 years now. As an ESL teacher, I taught English grammar, speaking, and daily conversations to students off all ages. I conducted individual and group classes. It is a challenge to adjust teaching styles to the students’ different English levels. I believe that the first step to achieving any goal is to plan specific steps to reach that goal. The motivation must come from the student. Yet, the teacher plays a vital role in keeping their students motivated by continuously finding ways to make learning fun and worthwhile. Moreover, a sincere word of encouragement can go a long way towards boosting their determination to reach their goal. With regards to my teaching style, I encourage my students to converse in the English language no matter how many mistakes they make in the process because I believe that is the best way to learn.Il mio materiale didattico

Pearl is a very friendly, helpful, and patient teacher. She has a great sense of humour and can perfectly deal with kids. I highly appreciate her way of communication and methods of teaching my son Daniel. The classes with Pearl are very funny and involving. We are looking forward to learning english and having next lessons with her!
