I've been described as a chill, friendly and very supportive teacher by my students. I'm flexible and creative, and always try to find ways to make learning German fun and more effective for my students. After all, everyone is different in how they learn something best.
As mentioned, I have taught German to elementary school kids and middle aged people. I have tutored native German speakers (in honing their writing skills) and foreigners learning German as secondary language since 2019. Whether you want to be able to write casual texts, school-level essays or formal emails, I can help you. I have plenty tutoring experience in this area. Also, being a writer and beta reader means I know how to give constructive writing feedback. I've worked on dissertations (a requirement for Austrian high school graduation) and am a university student, so I have experience with more advanced written German.
Whether you're a perfectionist who wants a native-ish pronunciation, or if you're just looking to hold simple conversations in German, I will patiently work with you on your goals. Kitty's a very helpful teacher. She's curious and attentive, always asking questions and providing great input to empower my speaking skills.

Kitty's a very friendly and caring teacher. She's helping me with corrections and suggestions during our lesson.
I always have the opportunity to exercise my speaking skills with interesting topics. She leaves me free room to talk (which is very important for a student) while also explaining how I should build my sentences better or correct my pronunciation.
At the end of the hour she gives a summary with improving tips and suggestions.
Super recommended!

A great teacher!
Kitty was so patient with me and helped me a lot making my own sentences in English. She also let me ask her questions about the Exercises book I'm doing on my own and she gave me great feedback on what to focus next.
