Thank you for czechin' me out!
I am native Czech speaker with over 3k lessons taught on Italki. I have a bachelor's degree in law and 7 years of hands-on experience in teaching and learning languages.
Being a former Czech Ice hockey player and a student of Czech criminal Law with a great love for Czech history and culture I will make you fall in love with this incredibly interesting language, our culture and history and maybe I'll share some tips on how to properly wear socks with sandals as a proper Czech!Che tipo di insegnante sono

In my lessons, I go by the motto “learning through play” so don’t expect any dull moments!
All my lessons are tailored personally for you, depending on your needs, interests and preferences.
We will focus mainly on conversation, which from my experience is the best way how to master a language, but we will also focus on grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. If you have no knowledge of Czech language, don’t worry we will start at the very basics.

Je nejlepším učitelem češtiny na Italki. Od té doby, co mě začal učit, moje čeština vážně pokročila. Nyní jsem si velmi jistý, že se dokážu dostat na úroveň C2. He is the best Czech language teacher on Italki. My Czech has seriously progressed, since he started to teach me. I am now highly confident that I can make to the C2 level.

I'm a pharmacist from the UK who moved to the Czech Republic to study a PhD. Matěj is an excellent teacher who in a short space of time has taken me from zero Czech to being able to understand native speakers and have conversations with them, which is something I never thought would be possible. As someone who has unsuccessfully tried to learn many languages in the past and especially struggled in high school with them, I have found Matěj's unique, interactive lesson structure really effective for me and I was able to learn more than I have ever learnt before.
