Matěj

Matej is always great. Easily the best teacher I've had on Italki. he is extremely patient and good at speaking at your level no matter how low that is. He also frequently stays a few minutes late if we haven't finished what we are going over. Which is something no other teach I've had has ever done. I always look forward to learning from him.

I'm a pharmacist from the UK who moved to the Czech Republic to study a PhD. Matěj is an excellent teacher who in a short space of time has taken me from zero Czech to being able to understand native speakers and have conversations with them, which is something I never thought would be possible. As someone who has unsuccessfully tried to learn many languages in the past and especially struggled in high school with them, I have found Matěj's unique, interactive lesson structure really effective for me and I was able to learn more than I have ever learnt before.

Matej is amazing, he is the most engaged and encouraging teacher I've ever had on Italki. Our lessons are very laid back and he constantly steers the conversation to keep us in Czech the whole time.

He is the best Czech language teacher on Italki. My Czech has seriously progressed, since he started to teach me. I am now highly confident that I can make to the C2 level.

Matej is by far the best teacher I've ever had on Italki. He is extremely kind and patient and never gets irritated no matter how often I forget things, or how long it takes me to remember the case ending for a word. I also really like the format of our lessons where we just practice speaking first and then dive into the actual lesson content.
