Hello, my name is Bam. I was born in Thailand and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from King Mongkut University in Thailand. Currently, I am pursuing a master's degree in the Faculty of Business Administration at Birmingham City University in England. I am fluent in both Thai and English languages. In my free time, I like to be productive, which is why I decided to become a teacher at italki. I believe we can discuss interesting topics while improving our Thai language skills together. I strongly believe in the transformative power of education. I aspire to become a teacher because I see it as a means of contributing to a more knowledgeable and empathetic society. By educating upcoming generations, I can play a role in shaping a better future. Additionally, I want to pursue teaching because I believe that everyone should have access to high-quality education, irrespective of their background or circumstances. I used to have conversations with my students. These talks were more about providing encouragement and suggesting steps to help them improve, rather than just pep talks. I see each session of my course as a unique group with its own culture that needs to be nurtured. I share this viewpoint with my students, telling them that they are different in each class they attend, with their own confidence level and sense of what they feel entitled to have an opinion on. I want them to contribute to creating a positive atmosphere in the classroom that they feel good about being part of.Il mio materiale didattico

Kru Bam has a wonderful standard Thai pronunciation. She is friendly and fun to talk to. I enjoyed our speaking practice session.

Ban is an excellent teacher and motivator. Her lessons are fun, interesting and relevant to my stated goal of working towards success in the CU-TFL (Chulalongkorn University Thai as a Foreign Language) examination. Each week Bam shares a topic from the Thai language Press to stimulate discussion and build vocabulary. I particularly like the way she tests my spelling ability, corrects my errors and while being flexible, she doesn’t let me go off at a tangent and avoid the hard work necessary for making progress. If you are serious about learning Thai, I recommend you choose Bam as your teacher: you will be very happy you did! I am taking a break to travel and will continue to learn with Bam when I return.
