My name is Miriam, I'm Italian and I have always been passionate about learning languages. I studied English, Spanish, and Swedish at Rome university, and I spent some time abroad (in Portugal, Sweden, and Ireland) to improve my language skills. I live in Rome where I am studying to become a certified Italian teacher and working with foreign tourists.

My lessons are more focused on conversation and are suitable both for beginners and for adults. I already had experience in teaching to children, university students, and adults! I am very friendly and patient in fact I believe that having a relaxed atmosphere during lessons is the key to keeping motivation high and thus facilitating memorization. I try my best to make lessons effective but also fun so students can really enjoy their experience while learning. I like when students feel free to talk most of the lesson in order to gain confidence. Of course, I always make sure everything is clear and the time together is a real learning opportunity. I think it is useful to adapt lessons to every student's need so I welcome any suggestion about a specific topic or language aspect.Il mio materiale didattico

Miriam is a great teacher and an absolute pleasure to talk to. She is extremely knowledgeable about her subject and knows how to keep the lesson going with a natural flow of conversation suited both to the student's interests and to learning the language. As a language lecturer of 15 years myself, these are qualities I really appreciate and that I know not every teacher has. As such, I'd highly recommend lessons with Miriam to anyone looking to improve their Italian.
